We at the Stark Agency are deeply committed to the Madison community and surrounding areas. We regularly participate in annual charitable fund raising events for a variety of worthy causes including the Relay for Life, March of Dimes, Madison Area Down Syndrome Society, the Rainbow Project and the Exchange Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse.
Members of our management team serve on the boards and/or committees of the following area organizations: 100 Black Men of Madison, Financial Crimes Investigators Group, Middleton Outreach Ministry, Wisconsin Collectors Association, the Association for Women in Communications and the Rainbow Project. In addition, nearly 50% of our staff contributes their time to several other area groups including Habitat for Humanity, Dane County Humane Society, Toys for Teens, the VFW, various political campaigns, and local neighborhood associations, as well as mentoring troubled teens and several programs for the arts.
The Middleton Outreach Ministry (MOM) is one charitable group that is especially important to The Stark Agency. Our association with MOM began in 2005 when our staff “adopted” a family for the Christmas season, providing gifts to a family in financial need. This tradition has continued in our office as we have adopted larger families in more recent years. Our staff has held non perishable food drives for help stock MOM’s food pantry. We also held a food drive for the benefit of Middleton Outreach Ministry in conjunction with our company’s 60th anniversary party in 2008.
In addition, we participate in annual events designed to help the ACA Education Foundation initiative of increasing financial literacy. The money we raise comes back to the State of Wisconsin in the form of free educational brochures and services designed to help residents in our area develop the skills needed to successfully manage their personal finances. |
